Marquez-Mabuza off for this Friday, possibly back on for Lacy co-feature!

IBF bantamweight champion Rafael Marquez has pulled out of his fight with mandatory challenger Silence Mabuza, which has been scratched from Saturday night's telecast according to sources close to the situaion. The James Toney-Dominic Guinn and Chris Byrd-DaVarryl Williamson will still air on Showtime Championship boxing as scheduled. Boxingtalk has also heard rumblings that discussions are underway to add Marquez-Mabuza to the IBF super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy's November 5 Showtime date against Scott Pemberton. (5:30 PM)
