Boxingtalk.com has been informed that Showtime isn't willing to lose Ricky Hatton without a fight, recently stepping up to the plate with a license fee of more than $3M for Ricky Hatton's next fight. Ken Hershman and Hatton's promoter Artie Pelullo were unavailable for immediate comment. Prior to this report Hatton was expected to make his HBO debut on May 13. No official word on how Showtime's more lucrative offer has affected Team Hatton's dealings with HBO but there will be much more to follow.  REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! 6:30 pm
