Reliable sources directly involved with the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that Showtime is only willing to pay $1M for the best lightweight fight in the world, a unification bout between WBO lightweight champ Diego "Chico" Corrales and WBC lightweight champ Jose Luis Castillo. Of the $1M Boxingtalk understands Top Rank is asking for 50%, which is strange to sources from Team Corrales since that's more than he made in two fights with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The date being discussed is December 4,  if Showtime or Top Rank don't budge, boxing fans might lose a great fight due to this current stalemate. $1M for the best lightweight fight in the world?
