Press Release: The next ShoBox telecast on Showtime (11 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast) will be feature one of the better main events in the show's 73-episode run. The March 3, 2006 edition will be headlined by a world championship bout as IBF flyweight champion Vic Darchinian (24-0, 19 KOs) defends his version of the 112pound title against Diosdado Gabi (26-2-1, 18 KOs), in a 12-round bout to be broadcast from from Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California.  Gabi, from the Philippines, will try to continue his nation's recent boxing successes, most notably Manny Pacquiao's win over Erik Morales. The co-feature has yet to be announced.
