Nunes, Santiago score wins

Agnaldo Nunes, a two-time Olympian from Brazil, won a unanimous decision over Adalberto Borquez at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California. Nunes improves to 15-1-1 while Borquez drops to 12-2. On the same show, Mario Santiago improved to 13-0 with a breakthrough win over tough Cornelius Lock. Santiago, a Puerto Rican prospect, stopped Lock in the fifth with some hard shots that convinced the referee to end the featherweight bout. source: ShoBox on Showtime
