It's been just two months since Hamzah Sheeraz (23-0) finally became a champion, but he returns on Saturday night to make the first defense of his WBO super middleweight title.  He will be facing Germany's Simon Zachenhuber (29-1) on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Kristian Prenga, which will be broadcast live on DAZN pay-per-view and Ultimate Tier. For Sheeraz, this should be a routine defense, and if all goes well, it could set up a possible meeting with former multi-division champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez as long as Alvarez beats Christian Mbilli later this year.  For Sheeraz, this is just his third fight at super middleweight after beating Edgar Berlanga on his debut and then Alem Begic for the vacant WBO title.  He will be expected to make easy work of Zachenhuber who lost to Pawel August in April before bouncing back with a win two months later against Armin Ajrulai. Accordingly, Sheeraz is a huge favorite to retain his world super middleweight title with the odds at 1/16.
