Winky Wright's promoter Gary Shaw had this to say in response to Richard Schaefer's comments regarding Winky Wright accepting Kingsley Ikeke's challenge. "I spoke with Richard Schaefer prior to him going on the internet and I told him we have zero interest in fighting Ikeke since he hasn't fought anyone at all, definitely not anyone in the top five. Since Richard Schaefer has come on the record, I'll tell you what I think, when Oscar comes back from maternity leave he should fight Kingsley Ikeke and Winky Wright will fight the winner."
