Shaw inks Puerto Rican quartet

PRESS RELEASE: Gary Shaw announced the signing of four undefeated contenders from Puerto Rico. Joining the roster of Gary Shaw Productions are: featherweight ORLANDO CRUZ (12-0, 6 KOs), jr. middleweight EMANUEL GONZALEZ (7-0, 3 KOs),  super bantamweight VICTOR FONSECA (4-0, 2 KOs), and lightweight FERNANDO TORRES (2-0, 1 KO). Combined, they have a perfect record of 25-0, 12 KOs. "These young men are real fighters and when I saw them in action in Puerto Rico I couldn't wait to sign them," said Shaw.  "They fight with a real hunger and with real power.  They train hard and they fight harder.  They have real talent and great amateur pedigrees.  I cannot wait to show them off on all my future cards." Gonzalez boasts an amateur resume that includes a gold medal at the PanAmerican Games.  In his debut under the GSP banner, he scored a fifth-round of Roberto Irrazary on April 7 in Springfield, MO.  Cruz also made his GSP debut on that same card, scoring a six-round unanimous decision victory over Ricardo Medina.  Cruz and Torres will be making their GSP debuts later this summer
