The great Shane Mosley is mourning the loss of his mother, Clemmie Jewel Armstead Mosley. The former multi-division champion wrote the following tribute to her: "I really couldn’t have asked for a better mom. I promise to continue to make you proud and be the best man I can. I promise to continue to live with integrity and passion just like you taught me. I will forever be missing you until we meet again. You were the best mom anyone could ask for. Your the reason I became Sugar Shane. You were my biggest cheerleader and my most loyal supporter. I never felt alone because I knew you were always in my corner. I am forever grateful I got to hold you through the night on in your final moments. I’m forever grateful to have had such a beautiful and loving mother. I am sincerely proud to be your son and for the world to see how much I love you. You were the most important lady in my life. I love you mommy.  Sincerely, your son, Shane Mosley."
