Saunders picks up paper title vs. Isufi

Billy Joe Saunders W12 Shefat Isufi ... In his second fight back after a PED suspension, Billy Joe Saunders grabbed a soft title in Stevenage, England, defeating little-known Shefat Isufi of Germany for the vacant WBO super middleweight belt. The title became vacant when Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez vacated in order to campaign at light heavyweight. While Saunders can now call himself a two-division champ, this fight continued a disturbing trend of the WBO nominating unqualified B-sides to compete for vacant title (following the undeserving Walter Kautondokwa who lost to Demetrius Andrade when the middleweight title was taken away from Saunders after his positive PED test). Saunders won this one easily on the official scorecards, 120-108, 117-111 and 118-110. He is now 28-0. "I wasn't really pushed or anything in there, it was like good sparring practice for me," said Saunders afterwards. Isufi is now 27-4-2 and still has no notable victories. source: espn+
