Press Release: This Friday night’s Solo Boxeo card has a late replacement opponent in the main event as David Lopez of Nogales, Mexico will now be taking on Dominican spoiler David Toribio in a ten round middleweight bout at Cicero Stadium, near Chicago. Toribio, coming off a first-round knockout of undefeated Juan Camilo Novoa this past August 3rd in Arcadia,  Florida has once again agreed to step in on short notice to face Lopez. He is 14-9. Darryl Salmon, originally scheduled to face Lopez pulled out due to illness. Lopez, 32-12 (21KO’s), has won eight in a row, including five by knockout. Tickets for are available by calling the 8 Count Productions offices at 312-226-5800.
