PRESS RELEASE: On Sunday, October 30th, 2005 the city of San Francisco will host one of the most important amateur boxing events of the year -- México vs. USA.  Not since the early 1970's has the Mexican national team competed in California in a head-to-head competition against Team USA.  Passions for country will run deep as these two natural rivals face off in this Pre-Olympic dual meet. The one-day tournament will take place 30 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and will hopefully create enormous interest  in amatuer boxing as the lead-up towards the 2008 Beijing Olympic games begins.  The event, which starts at 5:00 p.m., will feature bouts in 11 Olympic weight categories.
