Prefight
Castillejo (CAS) enters first. HBO informs us that his wife stayed at the hotel because she doesn't like to be there when he fights...ironically, CAS gives an unknown female a kiss as he enters the ring. Must be a Spain thing. Vargas enters next and the crowds cheers loudly. El Feroz looks focused. The crowd comes to their feet as Vargas goes to each side of the ring a la Hulk Hogan. LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Round 1
Vargas comes out cautious. CAS works the jab. Both men pose. Neither doing anything for the first minute. CAS works the jab to the air. Vargas touches him to the body. Both men are about 4 feet apart. Yawn. Vargas does nothing. CAS does nothing. CAS touches him to the body. Vargas lands a right to the body. They both miss with their jabs (probably because they're about 4 feet apart). CAS lands to the body. CAS lands a jab. Yawn. Vargas touches him to the body...misses with a left. Vargas lands a shot that knocks CAS off balance. Left to the body lands for Vargas that wobbles CAS. Vargas starting to let his hands go a little more. CAS lands a right on the inside. Vargas digs to the body. Another left to the body for Vargas. CAS misses with a right. CAS lands a right to the body. Hard body shots land for Vargas. CAS works the jab. Big right hand lands for Vargas that stuns CAS. Vargas jumps on him and lands two more hooks that put CAS down. CAS rises at the count of 9 and the round ends. Round to Vargas.
