Ronald Hearns now 15-0 after 2nd round KO

Ronald Hearns KO2 Edson Aguirre... In Rochester, New York, Ronald Hearns delivered a hard right hand blow that dropped Edson Aguirre for a ten count the split second after the bell rang. The referee ruled that because Hearns began throwing the punch before the bell sounded, it was a legitimate knockout, raising Hearns' record to 15-0 with 12 KOs. About the shortness of the bout, Hearns said, "I'd like to get the work but I don't mind building up the knockout ratio," to the Rochester Democrat and Gazette. His legendary dad, Thomas Hearns, was in attendance. Aguirre is now 12-8-1. source: rochester democrat and gazette

Robert Frazier bout canceled... The card's co-feature was canceled due to an unresolved medical issue involving Rochester light middleweight Robert "Pushup" Frazier. The New York State Athletic Commission ordered additional medical tests before licensing Frazier, but hopefully the Commission was simply being overcautious to protect him. source: rochester democrat and gazette-- posted by Scott Shaffer
