IBF Featherweight Champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero knocked out “The American Boy” Jason Litzau in the 8th round Friday night on Shobox. Guerrero most likely had the edge through the first seven rounds landing the harder more accurate shots and showing impressive defensive skills dipping and moving away from many Litzau punches. In the 8th round however, Guerrero landed a huge uppercut that sent Litzau straight to the canvas. “The American Boy” rose to his feet and the overanxious Guerrero tried to close the show. About a minute later, Guerrero dropped Litzau again and “the American Boy” found himself failing to meet the count. It was a solid win for Guerrero and could put him first in line to face the winner of Vasquez-Marquez III. Source: Shobox
