An elbow injury that may require surgery has forced former WBA welterweight titlist Jose Antonio Rivera to pull out of his scheduled September 3 date with WBO junior middleweight champion Daniel Santos at the Gund Arena in Clevland, Ohio. Santos-Rivera was scheduled as Showtime's Championship Boxing main event, with heavyweights Owen Beck and Sergei Lyakhovich squaring off in the televised co-feature.
