Viddal Riley will put his European cruiserweight title on the line next month, live on DAZN. The unbeaten Riley, defends his EBU crown against mandatory challenger Seydi Coupe (14-0) on November 14th at OVO Arena Wembley in London.MF PRO is serving up a packed Saturday Fight Night with Riley vs. Coupe leading a show that also features Zelfa Barrett vs. Gavin Gwynne, Yaser Al Ghena vs. Ben Marksby and Tom Welland vs. Jack Dillingham.
A rematch dripping with animosity between Dan Toward and Jak Corrie adds needle to the show, with recent MF PRO recruit Cameron Vuong also part of the undercard. But London’s Riley is the star attraction as he takes on the dangerous Coupe.
After winning the title in March, the 29-year-old is fixed on dazzling once more. Riley said: “It’s main event season. It’s taken 14 wins... to make it here and I look forward to owning the moment. I am defending what’s mine as the EBU European champion and I will put on a statement performance to show why I’m mandatory for the IBF.”
Kalle Sauerland, co-founder of MF PRO, said: “The Rilist returns to headline a massive Saturday Fight Night on November 14, live only on DAZN – and the fight is a banger! Viddal could easily have waited patiently for his shot at the IBF world title but off the back of his Mateusz Masternak masterclass, he wanted to keep the show on the road by taking on his mandatory challenger. Coupe is unbeaten and dangerous, but Viddal is a world-champion-in-waiting and we’re expecting a big win, live on DAZN.”
Amer Abdallah, MF PRO President said: “A champion isn’t defined by just winning the belt, but by defending it. On November 14, Viddal Riley will have the opportunity to do exactly that and prove once again why he is the number one cruiserweight in Europe and deserves a world title opportunity. This isn’t just about defending what he’s earned—it’s about making a statement that Viddal Riley is one of the best cruiserweights on the planet.”
Riley, 14-0, has risen to European champion and one of the world’s leading cruisers, having previously won the English and British titles. March’s win over respected gatekeeper Masternak, a unanimous points win at a sold-out O2 Arena, put a marker down to the champions at 200 pounds, with a world title shot in Riley’s sights.
