PRESS RELEASE: Rijker plans to tell Leno how she plans to defeat Christy Martin on Top Rank's big 'Million Dollar Lady' mega-fight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 30. Earlier today, Rijker told Jim Rome on his national radio show "....I am prepared to face a mean person in Christy Martin who will do anything it takes to win. I am going to give it my all - that I promise." Rijker, who played the role of Billie 'The Blue Bear" in Clint Eastwood's award-movie 'Million Dollar Baby,' said she has seen the movie five times.

"The first time I watched it I was very critical of my performance," Rijker said. "However, I do want to say (director) Clint Eastwood is a very special person - he allows you to be yourself and he is very easy to work with on the movie set. Hilary Swank (star of 'Baby') is a dedicated, down-to-earth, humble, amazing person."
It's all for real on July 30. Martin and Rijker each have a $250,000 base for a purse. The winner will collect a bonus of $750,000 and will become the 'Million Dollar Lady.'  Martin vs. Rijker will be available on Showtime Pay Per View.

NOTEBOOK - Christy will be on the NBC's Late-Night with Conan O'Brien on July 21. Christy will take a flight from Orlando, Fla. to New York City to appear on the show.
