Barranquilla, Colombia -  Big puncher Ricardo Torres, the WBO #5 rated junior welterweight of Colombia, returns to action to take on heavy-handed Carlos Donquiz of Caracas, Venezuela, here Friday, June 30. This will be the first fight for Torres since his wild knockdown war vs. world champion Miguel Cotto in Atlantic City, N.J. on Sept. 24, 2005. Torres, 28-1 with 26 knockouts, takes on a hard hitter in Donquiz who has a record of 12-3 with 12 knockouts. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds and will be promoted by Top Rank in association with Quadrilaterio Promotions of Colombia.
