At the New Alhambra in Philadelphia on Friday, Chad Brisson improved to 20-2 with a unanimous decision victory over Russell Stoner Jones. Brisson won the ten-round junior welterweight bout by scores of 96-93, 97-92 and 99-91. Jones' record slips to 19-14. In a light heavyweight contest, Richard Stewart decisioned trialhorse Ron Boddie over six rounds to up his record to 9-2-1. Boddie, now 15-33-5, was give one round by one judge and no rounds by the other two. The upset of the night went to William Bailey, a small light heavyweight, who traveled north from Virginia surprised Glen Turner, a local. Bailey won a six-round decision by scores of 60-54, 59-55 and 58-6. His record is now 4-10-2, compared to 8-3-3 for the beaten Turner. source: Russell Peltz
