Exciting jr. welterweight prospect Timothy Bradley won his bout when opponent Rafael Ortiz could not continue after the second round. The aggressive Bradley was able to get inside on Ortiz, hurting him in the second round with a hook to the body and late in the round with a right to the head. Ortiz was on the ropes and
in trouble when the bell ended the second round. Between the second and third rounds, the bout was waved off. Bradley improves to 11-0 with 6 KOs with the win, while Ortiz slips to 9-11-1 with 6 KOs.

Freddie Barrera improved to 10-0 and scored his first
stoppage win, after the corner for a tiring Daniel Gonzalez stopped the fight late in the fifth round.
Barrera outboxed the southpaw pressure fighter for
much of the bout, countering effectively as Gonzalez
came inside before circling away. In the fifth,
Barrera was standing his ground more and landing hard
right hands on his fatigued opponent. With 10 seconds
left in the round, Gonzalez's corner had seen enough.
Gonzalez falls to 7-5-2 with 2 KOs.

Manuel Roman outboxed an aggressive Oscar Blanquet to
win a split decision in a four round junior bantamweight contest. Roman improves to 6-0-1 with 5 KOs with the win, while Blanquet suffers his first loss to fall to 4-1 with 2 KOs.

The blazing handspeed of Cleotis "Mookie" Pendarvis
was too much for a game Alfredo Rivera. The quick
handed southpaw dropped Rivera three times during
their four round welterweight bout en route to a four
round unanimous decision victory. Pendarvis continues
to impress with his speed and boxing ability. "Mookie"
improves to 4-0 with 1 KO with the win.
