Terri Harper W10 Eva Walhstom... England's Terri Harper was crowned WBC super featherweight champion after battering long-standing champion Eva Walhstom over ten rounds. Wahlstrom, from Finland, held the title since 2015 and still has a fine pro record of 23-2-2. Harper is now 10-0 and also holds the IBO title. “I had a lot of pressure on me, I’m 23 years old and I’ve just done this, I’ve made history,” Harper said afterwards. “I got the win, it was a hard fight against a tough girl.”

 

Kid Galahad TKO8 Claudio Marrero ... Kid Galahad earned another shot at the IBF featherweight championship by stopping Claudio Marrero of the Dominican Republic in eight rounds of their final eliminator. Galahad (27-1) is now in line for a rematch against Josh Warrington, who beat Gaolahad by split decision in June.  “After last time against Warrington, I couldn’t leave anything to the judges,” said Galahad afterwards, describing the stoppage of Marrero (24-4).
