Carlos Díaz TKO6 Eleazar Valenzuela ... Mexican junior welterweight Carlos “Chuko” Díaz improved to 29-1 by stopping Eleazar Valenzuela in round six in Tijuan Mexico over the weekend.  In round six, Diaz landed at least eight unanswered blows, opening up a gas on the right cheekbone of Valenzuela (26-11). As Diaz moved in to finish off his opponent, Valenzuela's corner, in a wise manner, asked the referee to stop the action. 

Carlos López TKO2 Marcos Muñiz... Bantamweight  Carlos "Mini" Lopez (14-0) overcame a difficult first round to stop Marcos Muñiz (14-2) in round two. Towards the middle of the second round, Lopez hit Muñiz with a left to the abdomen and fa right to the jaw, to send Muñiz to the canvas. Referee Fernando Renteria started the count, but observing Muñiz's lost gaze, he called the fight off and signalled for a technical knockout win for López.
