Gary "Tiger" Balletto won his first bout since The Contender reality series, stopping Matthew Strode, 20-2, in the ninth round in the main event of a Providence, Rhode Island show on Friday. Balletto dropped back down to junior welterweight for this bout, and the win raised his pro record to 31-3-2 with 26 KOs... On the same show, cruiserweight prospect Matt "Too Smooth" Godfrey (14-0, 8 KOs) stopped Lloyd "Jabba" Bryan (22-15, 10 KOs) in the fourth round...
