Jamie Moore W12 Sebastian Lujan... Jamie Moore scored a points victory over Sebastian Andres Lujan in Cheshire, England last night. Referee Phil Edwards judged Moore to have won by 119 to 110. After a slow start, the tempo was raised in the middle rounds with Moore, 27-3, first to attack in the fourth round and then Lujan attempting to raise the stakes in the seventh. Moore boxed steadily throughout and gradually built a point’s advantage that Lujan, 26-5-2, was unable to breach. source: frank maloney press release

Dale Robinson D12 Chris Edwards... Also in Cheshire, Dale Robinson drew with Chris Edwards in a bout for the vacant British and Commonwealth flyweight titles. The pair had met in November when Edwards upset Robinson in the eighth round. On this occasion it was Edwards, who had taken time off work to prepare for this, his biggest career fight, that made the more energetic start and attempted to become the first Stoke-on-Trent boxer to win a British title in over 80 years. Both men were cut within the first six rounds and the ringside doctor twice intervened but enabled the fight to continue. The pair remained evenly matched throughout as the 113-115, 115-113, 114-114 scoreline reflected. source: frank maloney press release
