The WBA reports the death of Kanamu Sakama, a 20 year-old, word-ranked junior flyweight. Sakama, who had a 9-0 record, is said to have committed suicide this week when a scheduled fight was cancelled. because he was not in shape.  The WBA learned of the news from Japanese boxing journalist Joe Koizumi, who reported that, by not being in condition for the fight meant that Sakama felt he had no honor and committed the unfortunate act.
