According to Turki Alalshikh's social media, heavyweight hopeful Jared Anderson will be fighting Martin Bakole (pictured) on August 3rd in Los Angeles. If accurate, it would be the toughest assignment of Anderson's young career. There has been no formal announcement of the fight, just a fight poster tweeted out by Alalshikh on Wednesday. But Alalshikh is the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, which is sponsoring the August 3rd show through Golden Boy Promotions. Bakole stands 6'6" amd weighs in at about 300 pounds. He is 20-1 with quality wins over Sergey Kuzmin, Tony Yoka and Carlos Takam. His lone loss was to Michael Hunter in 2018. Anderson is 17-0 with quality wins over Charles Martin, George Arias and Jerry Forrest.
