In a story broken by the respected MIke Coppinger, heavyweight Jarrell Miller has failed a drug test for at least the fifth time in his combat career. Miller, out of action for over a year since failing three tests for PEDs, has been removed from Top Rank's July 9th show, where he was scheduled to face Jerry Forrest in a comeback fight. Several years ago, Miller failed a California PED test as a kickboxer. After that, he built a career as a heavyweight contender, and was set to challenge Anthony Joshua in a once-in-a-lifetime, multi-million dollar world championship fight in Miller's hometown (New York City). Miller threw that opportunity away with three positive tests for three separate banned substances. Although waiting for all the facts to come out is always advisable, it looks like Miller has taken a chainsaw to what was left of his career as a contender.
