Reading PA card to feature Kauffman and Collins

Press Release: Tomorrow night's show at the Reading Eagle Theater in Reading, Pennsylvania , will include a special tribute to the two local Reading police officers killed recently in the line of duty.  Plenty of tickets still remain for the seven bout fight card at the modern and spacious Sovereign Center. The boxing action itself will feature Reading's undefeated heavyweight Travis Kauffman and Reading welterweight Keenan Collins. Also appearing on the undercard will be exciting light heavyweight Jeremy Stauffer and light welterweight Jason Cintron, younger brother of welterweight contender Kermit Cintron. The honorees  will be Officer Scott A. Wertz, who was slain just over a month ago on August 6th, and Officer Michael H. Wise who was killed in June of 2004.   "In light of the recent tragic events in this city, my partner Jeff Nigrelli and I thought it was important to honor these fallen heroes", stated promoter Marshall Kauffman. "We have also donated some seventy tickets to the various area police departments so they could attend the fights this Saturday night. We want them to know that we appreciate the work they do in our communities and the risks they put themselves at", added Kauffman.   Tickets are available at the Sovereign Center Box Office at 700 Penn Street in Reading (610-898-7200) or at all Ticketmaster outlets (phone: 215-336-2000 or ticketmaster.com).
