"Pepe" Ramos told Boxingtalk.com that his managerial contract with Fres Oquendo is still valid
and in full effect. Ramos became Oquendo's manager eighteen months ago when Felix Trinidad Sr. joined his son in
retirement. In our exclusive interview with Oquendo, the Puerto Rican heavyweight stated Ramos was making ridiculous
financial demands for a contract "that Papa Trinidad gave him for free." Pepe told Boxingtalk.com
those allegations are "completely false" and later stated, "I did my job, I have my rights
and my contract is still valid. Fres got back to back title shots so I don't know how I wasn't doing my job. If
anyone wasn't doing their job, it was Fres." Boxingtalk.com will continue to keep you updated with regards
to this matter.
