In South Africa on Saturday, Boxingtalk's #20 junior bantamweight Simon Ramoni survived trips to the canvas in the same round and was able to retain his domestic title by beating Theo Modise by majority decision. The bell saved Ramoni from further punishment at the end of the third round, and he went on to win by scores of 116-111, 115-112 and 115-115.
