Ramirez-Nugaev to top Guilty bill on Feb. 4

GUILTY BOXING PRESS RELEASE: Lightweight Jairo Ramirez of San Diego takes on Rustam Nugaev of Los Angeles in the ten-round main event on “Guilty Fight Night” on Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Boxers from five countries—Israel, Mexico, Norway, Samoa and the United States—are represented on this Guilty Boxing card. The 23-year-old Ramirez, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, has a record of 16-2 with 7 knockouts.  The slick and crafty boxer is coming off a 10-round unanimous decision over Gabriel Vasquez on a Guilty Boxing card October 29, 2004.  His opponent, the 22-year-old Nugaev, originally from Russia, has a record of 13-3 with 5 knockouts and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ricardo Fuentes March 30, 2004 in Inglewood, California.  Also on the seven-bout card are undefeated heavyweight George Garcia, who represented Mexico at the 2004 Athens Olympics and is now 4-0 as a pro, plus two highly regarded prospects-- super middleweight Joe Spina, 14-0, welterweight Geir Inge Jorgensen, 19-0.
