Rachman retains IBF 105-pound title

Muhammad Rachman TKO7 Benjie Sorolla... On a slow weekend in boxing, Muhammad Rachman retained his IBF minimumweight title by stopping Benjie Sorolla in the seventh round in Indonesia. The Philippine challenger claimed the fight was stopped prematurely. There were no knockdowns and Rachman landed several unanswered punches in the seventh round, leading to the stopage. Rachman was leading on all three judges' scorecards. With the win, Rachman's record now stands at 61-5-5 with 31 KOs, while Sorolla drops to 21-11-3 with 6 KO's. Rachman is one of two world titlists from Indonesia, the other being world featherweight champion Chris John. source: philboxing.com
