Pryce Taylor to face Tsotne Rogava

Heavyweight Pryce Taylor (13-0, 8 KOs) has followed the ageless boxing process during the past two years and on November 7th in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Brooklyn heavyweight will battle 2021 Ukraine Olympian Tsotne “Mr. T” Rogava (13-1, 8 KOs). A confident Taylor said, “Now I have my shot. A win should get me in the WBC ratings and that’s when I can get some big fights.” The 6’ 3”, 265-pound Rogava represents a major step up for Taylor, the 6’ 4”, 275-pounder who was a standout amateur boxer as was Rogava. They will throw down in the ten-round main event, streaming live from Kiva Auditorium. In July, Taylor proved he could go ten hard rounds and on Nov. 7th, he has a chance to prove he’s a world-class fighter.

“Pryce Taylor continues to climb the heavyweight ladder, and [this] is another significant step toward our ultimate goal of a world title,” added manager Keith Sullivan. “Pryce has the size, talent, discipline, and determination to become a major force in the heavyweight division. We have been deliberate on building his career, and now he’s entering the stage where every fight carries greater significance. This is about making a statement that Pryce Taylor is a legitimate future contender for the heavyweight championship of the world. We believe the sky is the limit for this young man.”

A former New York State Athletic Commission Deputy Commissioner, Sullivan also manages two-division champion Miyo Yoshida (19-5, 1 KO), Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga (21-2, 21 KOs), Serbian heavyweight Sanel Hasanovic (10-1-1, 8 KOs), Staten Island light heavyweight Artan Iseni (6-0, 5 KOs), Bronx NYPD officer Nisa Rodriguez (4-1, 2 KOs), lightweight Fei Faiva (6-0-1, 4 KOs) and junior featherweight Brooklyn “The Big Deal” Barwick (5-1, 5 KOs). Sullivan also co-manages welterweight contender Paddy “The Real Deal” Donovan (16-2, 12 KOs) and his cousin, middleweight Jim Donovan (2-0, 1 KO), alongside coach and ex-world champion Andy Lee.
