Carlos Juan Velasquez KO2 Steven Mincks... Last night on the Worlds Collide card at the New Crazy Horse Saloon in Miami, Carlos Juan Velasquez extended his knockout streak, improving to (5-0 with 5 KOs).  In the first round of the junior lightweight bout, Carlos Juan dropped Steven Mincks (5-17-1) with a left hook to the liver. Mincks survived to the second round, but was sent to the canvas two more times, after Velasquez continued to pound the body.  Carlos Juan scored the KO after Mincks was unable to get to his feet.  Carlos Juan's twin brother Juan Carlos was unable to fight because his proposed opponent failed to submit approved blood exams to the commission. source: mario serrano press release
