Ramon Cardenas takes on Bryan Acosta this Saturday in an important super bantamweight collision at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas, live on ProBox TV. Cardenas (25-1, 14 KOs), will headline in his home city against fellow 122-pound contender Acosta (21-0, 9 KOs). The winner could fight for a vacant title against current WBA #1 (and former two-belt champion) Murodjon Akhmadaliev should world champion Naoya Inoue choose to avoid him.

 

Also on the show, former IBF super featherweight champion, the all-action Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov, returns on ProBox TV after losing his title to Joe Cordina in April 2023. Rakhimov (17-1-1, 14 KOs), will make his lightweight debut against the respected Justin Pauldo (17-2, 8 KOs)... Also on the card, bantamweight Michael Angeletti (12-0, 7 KOs), gets a tough test in the shape of Judy Flores (14-3, 8 KOs)... Figo Ramirez (8-0, 4 KOs) and Rianna Rios (8-0, 1 KO), both feature in six rounders against Jose Lopez (4-3-3) and Nancy Franco (19-21-2, 5 KOs), respectively.
