Prize Fight Signs Regional TV deal

Press Release: Prize Fight Boxing has reached an agreement for a twelve-fight TV series with Comcast Sports Southeast that wil be shown monthly throughout thirteen southeastern states and into 5.5 million homes. The series will be produced and broadcast by Comcast on CSS and will be replayed on Tennessee Sports Network (TSN) several times throughout the week. The fighters’ featured on these broadcast will include Anthony Peterson, Lamont Peterson, Rayonta Whitfield, Leon Bobo, Ira Terry, Rowland Bryant, DeAndrey Abron and many more. The fights will be broadcast on Sunday nights from 10:00 pm until 11:00 pm CST beginning in late November or early December 2006. Prize Fight’s Brian Young stated, “We are elated Comcast selected Prize Fight to launch this new boxing series. Anytime boxing is televised it enhances the sport and reaches new fans. Prize Fight will provide world class fighters on each and every telecast. This opportunity will increase our fighters’ marketability as well as the Prize Fight brand. Therefore, Prize Fight will be focused on delivering a quality product to the fight fans across the southeast.”
