Prize Fight Returns to Tunica!

Press Release: Prize Fight Boxing returns to The Fitz Casino & Hotel in Tunica, MS on August 26th with a professional boxing show featuring Adam “Swamp Donkey” Richards, who returns to The Fitz for the seventh time as he battles Tipton Walker 13-12-2 (6 KOs) in a six-round heavyweight main event. Swamp Donkey 14-1 (11 KOs) was last seen at The Fitz when he beat Ronnie Smith in the second round on May 20, 2006. Richards also knocked out Wes Taylor in the third round on the Jermain Taylor versus Winky Wright undercard. Fans at The Fitz have come to recognize Richards for his powerful punching ability. Walker represents Richards' toughest test as a professional and looks forward to embarrassing the Swamp Donkey in front of his fans. Walker had this to say in regards to battling Richards in a house where he is the fan favorite, “I have fought so called prospects all over the country and come out victorious in their own house. This is no different. Come August 26th I’ll send the donkey back to the swamp.” A feature bout on the card will pit light heavyweight DeAndrey Abron 9-1 (6 KOs) versus Juan Carlos Sanchez 27-19-5 (17 KOs) in a six-round attraction. Tickets for the event are on sale now at The Fitz Casino & Hotel Gift Shop and are $25 in advance and $30 at the door the night of the event. Doors will open at 7:00 PM on August 26th and the first bout will start shortly thereafter.
