Powell-Cauthen set for December 5th in Florida

Press Release: On Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida, Sechew "The Iron Horse" Powell (21-1, 12 KOs) faces Terrance "The Heat" Cauthen (32-3, 9 KOs) in an IBF 154-pound eliminator. Powell's only loss came at the hands of former world champion Kassim Ouma in 2006, and he owns wins over Grady Brewer, Cornelius Bundrage, Robert Frazier, and most recently, Ishe Smith. A veteran southpaw, Cauthen won a bronze medal in the 1996 Olympic Games. Unbeaten in his last seven fights, the 31-year old is ready to prove that he belongs among the elite at 154 pounds. Also on the show are Juan Urango and heavyweight Kevin Johnson. Opponents for Urango and Johnson will be announced at a later date.
