Povetkin-Donald weigh-in report

At the weigh-in for tomorrow's big show in Moscow, Larry Donald weighed in at 245 pounds in advance of his heavyweight bout against 2004 Olympic gold medalist Alex Povetkin. Donald, a relatively late replacement, weighed roughly the same for his last fight, a very narrow loss to Nikolai Valuev. However, for Donald's career best win over Evander Holyfield, he was a more svelt 226. Meanwhile Povetkin weighed in at 225. In the co-feature, Henry Akinwande scaled in at 245 compared to 233.5 for Andre Oleinik, who appears to be a late replacement for Oleg Platov. Oleinik is listed as 12-7 out of The Ukraine. Also on the card is super middleweight contender Vitali Tsypko (167), who will be facing Max Goleviznin (163). Golveviznin is listed as having an undocumented record of 13-1, so it could be a tough fight for Tsypko. source: sauerland press release
