Post-Fight Interview: Roman Karmazin

GL: Congrats on your victory, can you give us some thoughts on your performance? "I did well. I enjoyed my performance and most importantly, the fans enjoyed it."

GL: Are you surprised it was so easy?

Roman Karmazin: "Until I got into the ring, I didn't know. But once I got into the ring and saw what I was doing I knew it was going to be a short night."

GL: Where do you go from here?

RK: "I really don't care. As long as I'm in the ring as soon as possible. I don't really feel like I fought tonight. I'm ready to come back in January. Hopefully Don King can get me on the Trinidad-Jones card because I'm ready to fight tomorrow."

GL: Before the fight you said the top guys in the division don't want to fight you. After a performance like that will they want to fight you any more?

RK: "I can't fight any other way. I fight the way I fight and I'm sure boxers are worried about their pocketbooks and their career to fight with me."

GL: So you're hoping that DK puts you on asap against the biggest opponent for the biggest money?

RK: "I'll fight anybody, any time, any place as soon as possible."

GL: Vernon Forrest has a fight coming up next week, how do you feel about a fight with Forrest?

RK: "Of course I would want that, but that's up to Vernon, that's not up to me."

GL: Don King also promotes Cory Spinks, who will be defending his title on the undercard of Jones-Trinidad. If Spinks wins, will you attempt to make the rematch?

RK: "I would fight him in St. Louis again, but that's up to Cory Spinks and Don King to make it happen."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

RK: "If you appreciate the sweet science and the art of boxing I will continue to impress. Anybody who wants a piece of me, 954-418-5800 and get me in the ring."
