Polish prospect to headline in Chicago

PRESS RELASE:  On June 26, 2006, in Chicago a professional boxing show will be promoted by International Boxing Corporation in association with Jacek Galara. The show will feature an array of Polish boxers, including a ten-round heavyweight showdown between Poland's Mariusz Wach (10-0) and Arthur Cook (12-1-1). Cook hasn’t been the most active heavyweight, but he is known to Polish boxing fans as the man who handed Polish hopeful Albert Sosnowski his first pro loss after ninetten straight wins. Wach, a native of Cracow, Poland will look to avenge his countryman’s loss and put himself on the path to the same notoriety as his fellow countryman, Andrew Golota, who is expected to attend the June 26th show as a spectator. Another bout will pit Ukranian brawler, Roman Shkarupa (11-0) against Shay Mobley (14-6-1). Additional action continues with the Illinois State super featherweight title on the line between Jamie Sandoval (10-1) and Pete Cantu (7-5).
