Picasso tells WBC he is still a future champion

Mexico's Alan “Rey” Picasso attended the WBC's weekly press event, Martes de Café, following December loss, via wide unanimous decision, to Naoya Inoue for the undisputed world super bantamweight championship. During the conference, a video highlighting moments from his fight against the Japanese star was shown. Picasso addressed those in attendance to express his gratitude and reflect on the experience: “I wanted to come here to thank everyone for the opportunity to fight for these four titles and for the confidence people placed in me. I felt very good throughout the 12 rounds; at no point did I feel like I was going to go down. I trust that better things are coming. I have to work hard and learn from this defeat. I will become a world champion one day.”
