Filippino lightweight Mercito Gesta says he wil be facing Hector Tanajara on July 24th on a show to be broadcast on DAZN. Gesta (32-3-3) has a loss and a technical draw in his last two fights. He's had two world title opportunities, losing to Jorge Linares and Miguel Vazquez. From Texas, Tanajara (19-0) is considered a future star, and has already fought plenty of solid opposition. The bout takes place at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. as the chief support for a welterweight contest between Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Samuel Vargas.
