Peterson to face real test on Shobox!

Press Release: The April 28, 2006 edition of ShoBox just got a lot more interesting as Lamont Peterson will now face the toughest opponent of his sixteen-fight career. Replacing Matthew Strode as Lamont Peterson's in the main event will be Mario Jose Ramos, 16-2-1. Ramos proved himself a top fighter when he upset welterweight Cosme Rivera in Rivera's first fight after losing a title challenge to Zab Judah. Ramos then dropped down to 140 pounds, where he was beaten by Demetrius Hokins. Still, he represents a significant test for the up-and-coming Lamont Peterson, 16-0.  In the co-feature Lamont's brother Anthony, also 16-0, is facing Jermaine White, 12-0.  The show will take place at the 4 Bears Casino in New Town, North Dakota, with the ShoBox telecast to begin at 11:00 pm Eastern time (and Pacific time on a tape delayed basis).  Â
