Anthony faces Luis E. Jose in main event

Press Release: This Friday, the nation's capital will host "American Champions" —an action-packed night of boxing as two rising stars, brothers Anthony Peterson (22-0, 16 KOs ) and Lamont Peterson (20-0, 8 KOs) make their hometown debut at the D.C. Armory on Friday, May 25, 2007. The ESPN2 Friday Night Fights broadcast will feature both Anthony and Lamont and will air live beginning at 9 pm EST. In the main event, Anthony will take on Luis Ernesto Jose (27-4-2, 24 KOs) of the Dominican Republic for a regional lightweight title while Lamont Peterson goes against journeyman John Brown (23-12-1, 11 KOs) of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
