Peden New IBF Champ!

Last night in Melbourne, Australia, Robbie Pedan beat Nate Campbell again.  After bleeding from the nose by the 2nd round, and suffering a cut over the right eye by the 4th, the referee stepped in with seconds left in the 8th round as Campbell was pinned against the ropes absorbing more punishment.  Even though the fight ended with Campbell bleeding over both eyes, Campbell claimed that the cut over his right was due to a clash of heads, but the referee consulted with all three judges and ruled that the gash was caused by a punch.  There were no reports of Campbell dropping his hands prior to the fight being stopped at the official time of 2:53 in the 8th round.
