Undefeated super middleweight prospect Mike “the Persecutor” Paschall, of Baltimore, returns to the ring Friday, October 20, 2006, at the Pikesville Armory in Pikesville, Maryland. Paschall (10-0, 2 KOs), who returns to the ring five weeks after winning an impressive six-round unanimous decision over William Gill, takes on Dhfir Smith in Paschall’s first scheduled eight round bout. Smith (15-14-3, 3 KOs) looks to build upon his recent upset of Baltimore super middleweight “Hurricane” Henry Mayes in Ocean City last August.
In the co-featured bout, nineteen year old undefeated prospect Jessie “the Beast” Nicklow (6-0, 2 KOs), of Baltimore, will face Jamaican-born Anthony Osborne (5-18-1, 1 KO) of New York City, in a six round junior middleweight bout. Nicklow, who fights with a fast paced, crowd pleasing style, already holds a victory over the dangerous Larry Brothers in his young professional career.
In other action, rugged heavyweight “Irish” Glen Williams (2-3-1, 2 KOs) battles Washington, DC’s Dalonta Marshall (0-1). Williams, of St. Petersburg, Florida, was last seen in Maryland in February, when he engaged in a thrilling four-round slugfest against undefeated Baltimore heavyweight Adam “Boom Boom” Bloom.
Also appearing on the card, Baltimore light heavyweight Willie Williams (4-1, 1 KO), meets William “the Storm” Bailey (5-10-2, 2 KOs) of Chesapeake, Virginia.
This showcase of undefeated local prospects will be preceded by a number of amateur bouts, where fight fans can get their first look at the Baltimore’s emerging boxing talent.
