Press Release: Join Heritage Fort Lauderdale for Wheels, a party among the cars of the �50s & �60s

Fort Lauderdale, FL�Heritage Fort Lauderdale will hosts its inaugural “Wheels� Party on February 6, 2009, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.  The event will kick off the opening of RM Auctions� weekend, Collector Cars of Fort Lauderdale .

Sponsors for the event include AutoNation Inc., the Maroone Automotive Group and RM Auctions Inc. The Honorary Chairs are: George “King of the Kustomizers� Barris, Ron & Barbara Castell, Donnie & Renee Gould, Rob Myers, Max & Marge Osceola, Tina Osceola and Art & Shirley Stone.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour in a room with glass windows overlooking 400 collector cars. DJ Rick Shaw will entertain with classic songs from the �50s and �60s. Guests will then proceed to the RM Car Auction area where they will eat, drink and dance among the collector cars. Some celebrity cars at the auction include two custom Mustangs built for Sonny and Cher by George “King of the Kustomizers� Barris. So dust of your nifty �50s party attire and come rock among the collector cars.
