Oscar says no chance of Lazcano fighting on Saturday

As part of a conference call to promote the upcoming "Viva Mexico" pay-per-view show, Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya had a few comments about Juan Lazcano.  As Boxingtalk readers know, Lazcano is off the show and lightweight contender is unhappy with the way the Golden Boy organization handled the situation. De La Hoya was asked why Lazcano pulled out of an announced bout against the beatable Hernan Galaviz (12-6-1). De La Hoya responded to the question by saying, "He decided to pull out of the fight for reasons only he knows...Justin Jukko is a very durable fighter who he could have maybe had a comeback fight against but he felt that it was too tough of a fight for him. He pulled out so we tried to get another fight for him which was a much easier opponent, which is what he asked for.  Then he pulled out of that, so there is nothing else we could have done." When asked about the possibility of salvaging a Lazcano fight for this weekend, De La Hoya responded "No, there is no possibility."
